Nigerian American rapper, Olubowale Victor Akintimehin aka Wale splits from Roc Nation, home of J.Cole, Rihanna, Meek Mill, Melanie Fiona and more, to join 77 North Management, which represents LeBron James.
The hip hop artist had been for five years Roc Nation Jay Z's empire, but perhaps Wale believes that there are greener pastures. The 77 North Management team is run by Rich Paul, Leonard Brooks, and Maverick Carter.
Wale’s split from Roc Nation was amicable.
The D.C. rapper’s fourth studio album will drop soon even though so far, no official date has been announced.
