It was revealed yesterday that the co-CEO of Nigerian no. 1 record label Kennis music records Dayo ‘DI’ Adeneye’s father-in-law Sir, Michael Negbenebor, was kidnapped and a 10 million naira ransom was demanded.
His wife confirmed that they have paid the ransom but he hasn’t been released.
‘He was kidnapped last week Sunday in Benin. The kidnappers asked for a ransom which we have paid on Tuesday, August, 26, 2014, and till now he has not been released,’‘I cant disclose the amount we paid’ She said
Sir Micheal was abducted in Benin, and according to his family, the kidnappers are demanding N10million as ransom as against N40million they initially asked for.
